Our Story
Mark and Ed met 6 years ago while teaching at Mount Garfield Middle School in Palisade. They became excellent friends and always talked about going into business one day. They both love traveling, the outdoors and everything that Western Colorado has to offer.
The Grand Mesa is an expansive and adventurous area, so when the Alpine Motel became available Mark and Ed knew this could be their opportunity to go into business together. Along with Mark’s wife, Erica, and Ed’s girlfriend, Alanna, they intend to create a comfortable and welcoming stay and hope to pass along their excitement of Collbran and the rest of the Grand Mesa to their patrons.
